MeetMate is a browser extension for private, in-meeting AI assistance in Microsoft Teams.
MeetMate may process Teams live-caption text and speaker information, questions you enter, settings, model-provider configuration, uploaded reference documents, saved meeting results, and Premium entitlement information.
MeetMate stores settings, uploaded knowledge documents, Premium entitlement state, and saved local data in browser local storage on your device.
When you request an AI-generated answer or report, MeetMate sends the meeting context and other information necessary for that request to the model provider you configured, such as OpenRouter. That provider processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy.
If you provide a model-provider API key, MeetMate stores it in browser local storage so the extension can make requests to your configured provider. Premium builds may open an external Stripe checkout page and store an entitlement/session reference after activation; MeetMate does not collect payment-card details.
MeetMate does not join meetings as a bot and does not record meeting audio. It relies on Microsoft Teams Live Captions.
We do not sell user data, use it for unrelated purposes, or use it to determine creditworthiness.
